This special combined tour takes you on an adventure through Essen, followed by an extended visit to the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – one of Europe’s most impressive industrial monuments.
Once you arrive at the site, you’ll have 2 hours and 15 minutes to explore the extensive grounds at your own pace. You can visit the Ruhr Museum or the Red Dot Design Museum, take a stroll across the impressive site, or simply soak up the unique atmosphere of this historic place. Please note that museum tickets are not included in the price.
After your exploration, you’ll board the coach again to begin the final part of the tour. This combined tour is offered once a day and is ideal for anyone who wants to experience history first-hand, rather than just hearing about it.
